Challenges of System Administrators
Employees are the weakest link in the IT environment and their actions have the greatest impact on the security of systems. They often use weak passwords, fall for phishing attacks and other types of social engineering. Therefore, IT system administrators must first and foremost ensure that their users behave responsibly and protect their assets with strong passwords. The weak password test can provide a quick insight into the effectiveness of password policy in the organization.
How does the Weak Password Test work
The weak password test checks the passwords in your Active Directory, using different criteria to identify weak passwords and related threats.
Based on the results, you can quickly take appropriate action. The test checks 10 different types of threats related to weak passwords, such as: weak passwords, duplicate passwords, blank passwords, and passwords that never expire. Importantly, the actual passwords and accounts are not revealed.
The test only takes 5 minutes and the results can be invaluable for your organisation!
Requirements: Active Directory, Windows 7 or later (32- or 64-bit).
