The CISO’s Challenge
More than ever, employees are the weak link in an organization’s network security. They are frequently exposed to sophisticated phishing and ransomware attacks. Employees need to be trained and remain on their toes with security top of mind. Simulated phishing attacks are an advanced new-school way to train employees to be as proficient as possible in identifying phishing attacks and other online scams.
We offer the world’s most popular integrated platform for security awareness training combined with simulated phishing attacks, created by KnowBe4.
The KnowBe4 Platform
Old-school Security Awareness Training doesn’t hack it anymore. Today, your employees are frequently exposed to sophisticated phishing and ransomware attacks.

How do Simulated Phishing Attacks work
Baseline Testing
Baseline testing is designed to determine what proportion of your users would actually click on a malicious link in an email. An email with a malicious link is sent to selected users from the training platform. The number of clicks on the link is logged, and the data is compared to other organizations in the industry. Based on your result, we help you design a tailored security awareness training that you can implement and run on your own. Our team is available to help and support you at any time.
The scope of the platform
The KnowBe4 platform contains the world’s largest library of security awareness content. In addition to templates for phishing attacks, it also includes vishing (calls and text messages), and the injection of malicious code on USB sticks. The content is available in various languages. What is more, you can add your own personalised content. We can help you create your content base and we can build up a database of materials together.
But training doesn’t end with passing a test. There is also a well-stocked library of educational video content available to give your users an extended insight into social engineering and phishing attacks.
Phish Your Users
You set up the campaigns in the platform: you define the recipients, the content and the time of the campaign. Additionally, you also specify the educational content to which the campaign is linked. Why?
When users click on a malicious link in the campaign, a web page opens, informing them that they have been the victim of a simulated phishing attack. At the same time, the users are offered a link to a training course where they can improve their skills of safe internet use.
This approach has two key advantages:
- The user receives training and education at the same time.
- The educational content can compensate for the bad feeling a user might have after clicking on a malicious link.
See The Results
If you are a CISO or a cybersecurity manager, you will be impressed by the analytics provided by the KnowBe4 platform. It is a fully automated system that generates statistics with diagrams and tables that you can use as a guidance for your future work.
You can monitor the results of each campaign, compare them with previous campaigns and see how your organisation is progressing. As the results always include an industry benchmark, you can also compare your organization to other companies in your industry. If you do well, use the results as your competitive edge.
